One vibrant event, the #62milliongirls Twitter Initiative,
that was coined with an aim of supporting over 60 million girls with quality education
had over 60,000 great leaders, advocates, famous actors and top musicians converged.
This was a Global Citizen Festival that did not leave behind
Mark Zuckerberg among many dignitaries. Mark pointed out that “we are a
generation of contributors.”
The show was so much hyped and even became full of life when
Beyonce surprised the first lady of America, Michelle Obama with the most perfect hug
that left the audience ecstatic. Beyonce’s
performance, including Chris Martin, Ariana Grande among many others stole the
show.
Most of all, the song “I am a survivor” gave the women in
the building affirmative energy, which riveted the words of the Pakistani
education campaigner/Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, amid many other ideal
guests.
Beyonce Knowles Carter, who was born in the year 1981, is an
American singer, celebrated dancer and also a pulsating actress. She grew up in
Houston Texas and took part in live performances in various towns, cities and
countries across the world ever since she was a child. She became a fast rising
star when she performed together in her girl group famously known as Destiny's Child
back in the year 1990. At this time, she was managed by her father Mathew Knowles.
